Business Activities

The program is led by an officer team consisting of: President, Vice

Training Activities

Members of the Mt. Orab Fire Department Auxiliary are Hazardous Materials Awareness level trained. This training is required for any active member in order to respond to the scene of an emergency. CPR training is also strongly encouraged and made available to members.

Emergency Response Activities

Auxiliary members are called to scenes where department members have been on the scene for an extended amount of time. Hours of response are restricted on school nights for members under the age of 18 or still in school. Duties on scene may include providing food and water for department members on scene or providing clothing, blankets etc. for victims.

Fund Raiser Activities

The auxiliary participates in many fundraisers throughout the year. The annual fundraisers for this program are the “Battle of the Badges” Basketball game and the annual golf scramble held at Whiteoak Golf Course. All funds raised by auxiliary activities go into an account used to fund the program and purchase needed items and equipment for Mt. Orab Fire Department, Inc.
